How about the "scam" erpetrated by the Indian refugees from Uganda in 1971 - they conned the whols British population with their hard luck stories and were given everything the needed by a caring public - and Govenrment - the truth took three years to open up a few eyes .
They knew they were to be kicked out by Idi Amin and so arranged with their "cousins' in the U.K. to send them dummy invoices which they paid monthly
and thus transferred their capital to London banks.....smart ?
These are the people who claimed that the Map of the Empire was coloured RED - from Embarrassment !
