Packaging

Since I am the one who prepares all vegetables for dinner etc - one thing which always gets my goat is to initially unwrap a cauliflower. No matter where they come from - they are all packed the same way.
Leaves cut back to show the snowy white florets, beautifully wrapped in plastic to keep them fresh - then sealed with a plastic sticky tape..... in the same colour as the wrapping... and I defy anyone to find it in order to ease the opening thereof...
Is it too much to ask the packers to use a different colour for the sealing tape ??/

They are wrapped in plastic? So that's why the ones we've cooked tasted so horrible!

Peter - you have been talking to my sister ?
On a visit some years ago to my sister in Birmingham - she invited us all for dinner - she cooked a chicken - in her excitement of cooking for more than herself - she forgot to take out the giblets wrapped in plastic !
